About

Sujak Engineering PLC was founded by its' Principal Teon C. Sujak P.E. in 2008 after having gained design experience under other Professional Engineers and Surveyors for both private and government agencies. These offices include;

Mickalich and Associates, Inc (Rochester Hills, MI)
Schonsheck, Inc. (Wixom, MI)
Soils and Material Engineers Inc. (Bay City, MI)

As Senior Associate at Mickalich & Associates, Teon designed a multitude of roadways and infrastructures while also overseeing and reviewing the work of other engineers for a diverse array of clients in both the public & private sectors. While the majority of his work during his 13 years with M&A was based in the Oakland County area, he also performed engineering design in the Michigan counties of Wayne, Macomb, Genesee, Ingham, Monroe, Washtenaw, St. Clair, Lapeer and Livingston. To further diversify his portfolio, he gained additional expertise designing sites, roads and drainage systems in the topographically design challenging mountains of North Carolina.

Teon began his Civil Engineer where every Professional should, at the bottom. While obtaining his bachelors degree he worked for both MDOT and SME on project sites learning both the fundamentals of civil construction and how to work in conjunction with the contractors. Unlike most design professionals who go from college to an office; in the field problem solving, inspection, testing, and surveying provided him an education that can't be learned in a classroom.

Sujak Engineering specializes in client care in its operations; making certain that the needs of its' clients are met while following the requirements and design standards of all the agencies with jurisdiction. Simply making certain that the design functions has never been the goal of Sujak Engineering. Since it's inception it has been to give the best design possible while looking out for the economic needs of its clients and the safety of the public.
